Last Week's Workout
1200s of Fun
The club ran a couple different workouts, depending on how much distance you wanted to put in that night. For those with a shorter flavor, striding 400s were on the menu. For those going longer, we did repeat 1200s on the short track.

This Week
Reminder that this Wednesday will be our last workout for this semester. We will resume our regular Wednesday workouts during the first week of classes in January.
Committee Announcement
If you haven't already told Jenna or Kari which committee you would like to be on, you will be randomly placed. Everyone in the club will be on a committee but this is not meant to scare anyone. It will not require a large time commitment, and we would like to have everyone organized into groups so that if we need something done, a committee chair can delegate responsibilities.
Club Planning Meeting--11/22/04--MINUTES
1. Sunday run is now an official UWRC run.

2. Commitee chairs and key people will meet at 5:55pm (5 minutes before practice) every week. Once a month these same people will meet for one hour.

3. Kari and Jenna will lead the UWRC meetings every week. Club officers will support Kari and Jenna in keeping order and each club officer will be asked, every week at this meeting, to very briefly update the club on his/her committee's latest goings-on. This was said to be key to keeping the whole club aware of the various committees.

4. Each member of UWRC will be asked to sign up for a committee. Those not signing up this week will be assigned to a committee (this gives club members a chance to choose the committee they prefer).

5. Committee chairs will be responsible for keeping track of, encouraging to attend, members of his/her respective committee.

6. There will be an agenda for the monthly meeting.

7. Socials will be decided upon by club officers and club presidents and the entire group (officers and presidents) will help support the success by attendance and encouragement of club members. Kari is temporary social chair. The social chair will be in charge of organizing the end of the year picnic.

8. Email list was opened to club officers.

9. Communications group will include Travis, Travis' roommate, Joe and others to help with the website, making flyers, etc. Jenna is the formal chair of this group
